This was commissioned by Molex for use in display and demonstration of the Helieon module. The baffle snaps onto the module and suggests fitment of a typical 4" trim, while the column, base and column capital trim trim raise the module displayed to a more comfortable height for interaction, while the base houses a driver and dimmer. Power supply is a desktop unit, which plugs into the base. The column head incorporates a machined heat sink that is thermally connected to the column body also made of .040" thick aluminum (2" OD), which combine to act as the modules heat sink. ►More Sculpture  ►Archive Designs ►Background
