What is Lumenique? |
Lumenique is a a creation of
Kevin Willmorth begun in 1988. As a lighting designer, product designer, product
marketer, artist and inventor with 3 decades experience in the
lighting market, I started Lumenique to focus on product
development. At first, our main focus was on connecting our
customers to unique, specialty, one-off products. What is
represented on this site and its peripheral entities, is a
work in process. Launched in 1995, some of the original site
remains in the body of this site in various forms. I
now offer consulting services
to lighting manufacturers, specifiers, trade publications,
investors, and building owners seeking
assistance in product issues and lighting quality
evaluation, development of leading edge lighting products
that deliver quality illumination efficiently.
Today we are directly involved in the
promotion and application of solid-state lighting. The
general illumination market is only just now scratching the
surface of this technology. I am invested in helping bridge
the knowledge gap
between the various entities involved to see this technology will reach its potential.
I am a product person. I am
continuously accumulating both
equipment and skills required to offer product
from initial concept to finished good. This includes optical
design and testing involved, and basic electrical and
electronics integration. The
Lumenique Product Center
offers a range of products and services that run the
gambit from design to marketing materials.
My business approach remains
close to my families long tradition of grass-roots
entrepreneurs, innovators and creative individualists, who
serve customers unencumbered by the mass of corporate
institution, tailoring services to suit the needs of
start-ups to market leading conglomerates.
I am a lighting enthusiast
and designer at heart. This web site is the expression of this
interest and dedication to the discipline. If there is
